How RxMate collects, uses and protects personal and health information.
Last updated 26 October 2026
What we collect
Patients: your mobile number, name, age and sex when you book or sign in, and the prescriptions, appointments and reports linked to you.
Doctors and staff: name, contact details, BMDC number and the documents sent for verification.
Technical: sign-in sessions and logs needed to keep the service secure.
How we use it
To book serials, send confirmations by SMS, show your records in My health and let clinics run their practice. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who can see your records
A clinic sees the records it created. Another doctor sees your history only after you approve a request, for the time you choose, and you can withdraw it at any time. Every look at shared history is logged.
RxMate staff can open a practice only in a time-limited, read-only support view that the practice can see, and every action is recorded.
Keeping it safe
Each practice's data is separated in the database itself. Payment details for clinics' merchant accounts are encrypted. Sign-in uses one-time codes, never stored passwords.
Your choices
You can download your data from My health, remove reports you uploaded and withdraw sharing. To close your account, contact us.
